With new year's just around the corner I am sure most people are thinking about goals and resolutions they would like to accomplish. I know I am. I have been thinking about resolutions since about Thanksgiving. :) 

I usually make a lot of goals. One thing I am going to do this year is what I am calling a 

20 in 30 challenge. 

Each month I am going to pick one thing to do for 20 days. I did this in the month of december with smoothies. You can see all my smoothies on instagram. This is a great challenge. 20 days is enough days to make it a bit of a challenge, but not too many days where it might be unachievable. 

I came up with a list of possible ideas for the challenge:

20 days of:
  • smoothies
  • salads
  • natural sugars
  • gluten free/wheat free
  • vegetarian meals
  • dairy free
  • seasonal eating
  • meals from scratch
  • lemon water first thing in the morning
  • only grass-fed/pastured meats
  • low carb
  • fruits as snacks
  • veggies as snacks
  • sit-ups
  • push ups
  • yoga
  • 7 minute app workout
  • flossing

I would love if others followed along and also did a 20 in 30 challenge. Although I have not yet decided which one I will do, I don't think we all have to do the exact same one. I think it would be great to pick your own challenge and try to do it for 20 out of 30 (or 31) days. 

I do think it would be great to keep it positive. So instead of saying

"I am not going to eat any sugar for 20 out of 30 days."


"I am going to only eat natural sugars for 20 out of 30 days."

Instead of saying

"I am not going to eat meat for 20 out of 30 days."


"I am going to eat vegetarian for 20 out of 30 days."
